We Came in Peace
Kim Swift is the Creative Director and co-founder of We Came In Peace, a creative studio that builds connective spaces and experiential campaigns. We Came In Peace was founded on the belief that art and design can transform a space into a "place" and can create shared experiences that inspire and unite people.
In the 4 years since the company’s inception, We Came In Peace has produced work for brands such as Toyota, Interview Magazine, Lincoln Motor Company, Roberto Cavalli, Virgin Mobile, Conde Naste, LVMH, Nike, CreativeTime, Microsoft, Porsche and Starwood Hotels, as well as emerging fashion brands and arts and non-profit organizations. As designers and storytellers, WCIP builds immersive, experiential worlds and invites guests to create the narratives. Their tongue-in-cheek style often blurs the lines between art, advertising and fantasy. Past work includes art installations, pop-up shops, branded environments, event design and production for the most high-profile happenings around the country.
In addition to her work at We Came In Peace, Swift serves as Creative Director for REVOLVE Detroit, where she focuses on partnering artists with entrepreneurs to transform spaces and strengthen the fabric of Detroit communities. She is a passionate advocate of the arts as a catalyst for positive change, and aims to foster a climate of possibility through engaging public art, memorable spaces, and rich participatory programming in greater Detroit.
